Abhi Pehli mohabbat k bohat se qarz baaqi hain,
Abhi pehli musaafat ki thakan se choor hain paon.

Abhi pehli rifaaqat ka har ik ghao slaamat hai.
Abhi maqtool khaboo'n ko bhi dafnaaya nahi hum ne.

Abhi aankhen hain iddat mein,
Abhi ye sog k din hain,
Abhi is gham ki kaifeyyat se baahir kis tarah aaen,
Abhi iss gham ko bherny do ,
Abhi kuch din guzarny do.

Yeh gham k neelgoo'n darya utar jayen tu sochen gay,
Abhi ye zakhm taaza hain,
Yeh bhar jaen to sochen gay........
